Watch the WERF website: www.werf.org for notice of availability of the final summit report.WHILE structures may not be essential to successful composting, they certainly can give operators a leg up on protection from the elements, and in the case of total enclosure, the upper hand on controlling odors and emissions. For those who design, build and use compost structures, the biggest challenge to date has been choosing materials, protective coatings and structural elements that prove durable in extremely corrosive environments.
