FIELD TRIP

Sunderland Recycling Facility
Operated by the Portland Office of Transportation, the Sunderland Recycling Facility includeing leaf composting, asphalt and concrete crushing and recycling.

Oregon Food Bank
Oregon Food Bank recovers food from farmers, manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, individuals and government sources. It then distributes that food to 20 regional food banks across Oregon. OFB directly operates the three regional food banks serving the Portland metro area and southeast Oregon.

Rebuilding Center
The ReBuilding Center carries the region’s largest inventory of quality, used building materials. Homeowners, contractors, clients of DeConstruction Services and others donate their unwanted but reusable or surplus building and remodeling materials. The ReBuilding Center’s 60,000-square-foot retail store carries an extensive and ever-changing inventory of lumber, siding, doors, windows, cabinet sets, hardwood flooring, ceramic tile, sinks, toilets, tubs, lighting, hardware, and much more.
